The Kirkham section of the South Fork Payette is known for it’s scenery, hotsprings and most importantly Idaho whitewater. Moreover, this section is a fun bouncy ride interspersed with class 2 and 3 rapids. Half way through your trip, you’ll enjoy a soak at Kirkham hotsprings. Worried about getting hungry? We’ve got you covered! Rafters will delight in a riverside lunch prepared by the guide. Meanwhile, you can relax at the hotsprings or on a sandy beach along the way. During the second half of the day, take a leap off a jump rock and swim in a crystal clear swim hole.
This is the perfect section for the first day of a multi-day Idaho whitewater trip. The Kirkham section floats into our private camp, which is a must see!
