2 Day/2 Night White Water Rafting Near Boise, Idaho

2 nights in our Beautiful Camp plus white water rafting 1.5 hours from Boise makes this option a gem!

Our 2 night river trips have 2 arrival options.

Upon clicking Book Now, you have the option to choose between two arrival times: 9:45 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. Essentially, the question is whether you will be staying overnight prior to your initial day or following your second day.

Both times meet at our headquarters in Lowman where you will receive your whitewater gear, get signed in and briefed on the plan. All trip options involve shuttling your vehicles down to our riverside camp which is 5 miles from our HQ. Your vehicles will be parked about 350 feet above camp. A PRC vehicle will be shuttling you around after that!

This journey will treat you to rugged views of a beautiful part of Idaho’s wilderness!  Our white water rafting trips near Boise, Idaho are a real treat!

Begin your first day of rafting on the Kirkham section of the South Fork Payette, famous for its beautiful views, hot springs, and, notably rafting. This section of white water is a great warm-up for what’s to come on day 2! With a couple of class III rapids and consistent gradient, this fun bouncy ride takes you through hotsprings, jump rocks and a sandy lunch spot. Rafts usually arrive at our exclusive camp around 3:00. You will be able to reach your vehicle from the campsite, collect your belongings, and get comfortable in your tents.

Our beach camp is incredibly beautiful and a definite must-see! We provide all camping gear for multi-day river trips in Idaho, giving you the chance to unwind after a fantastic day on the water. You can engage in activities like bocce ball, horseshoes, and slacklining. As you relax, our guides will prepare a delightful appetizer, a delicious dinner, and irresistible Dutch oven brownies. Relax while listening to guitar by the fire, or retreat to your comfortable tent and let the sound of the river soothe you to sleep.

Day two of this river trip in Idaho is a special one! We’ll start the day off @ 8:00, while you enjoy a hot beverage along with fruit and juice, followed by a white water worthy breakfast at 9:00. We’ll set off from camp in rafts heading for the high adventure, high adrenaline Canyon section around 10:00. With 25 class III/IV rapids and a portage around a waterfall, you’ll be happy to catch your breath at Pine Flats hotspring and another lunch on a sandy beach! The breathtaking Canyon walls will have you in awe of such beauty in the Boise National Forest! My wife and I just completed our third half-day raft trip with Payette River Company and have been thoroughly pleased with each experience. The isolated yet easily accessible location make a PRC trip a great way to get away from the hassles of everyday life. I highly recommend the half-day trip for beginners wanting to “get their feet wet” (please pardon the pun) due to the combination of rapids and calmer river sections. We definitely plan to try a full day trip next time.

We had an awesome half day trip and are planning on going up again and doing the full day canyon trip. It was beautiful up there and our guide, Joe, made the trip even more fun. Ginger made booking super simple and she was great to work with! I would definitely recommend making the trip up here!
